Look at that! I'm about to reach 1000 views (currently at 998). I was planning to post pictures of my 1000 Lakes Rally cars for this but I never expected that I'll reach 1k views this early. Unfortunately, I'm still swamped with office work and I don't have a camera to take pictures of my hauls. Just a quick update, I got a couple of new old RC's, I have sold most of my Hotwheels and bought several 1/64 CMS and I am planning on focusing more on highly detailed cars from now on. :D
Anyways, since I don't have pictures of my cars, let me just share this picture of a Chrysler Avenger during the 1977 1000 Lakes Rally. I really don't know why, but this picture really brings back very old memories. For some reason it reminded me of me waking up very early in the morning when I was like 2-3 years of age looking at my uncle's Chevrolet Vega.

That is it for now, thanks for looking and keep on over haulin! I wonder who's going to be my 1000 view? :D
HEHEHE... it seems i was your #1,000 viewer LOL... sorry to hear that you’re quite busy and i have noticed you didn’t published anything since... uhmmmm, the last time ??? HAHAHAHA... i mean, for so long...
ReplyDeletesorry to hear as well that you sold many of your HWs... actually i’m learning very fast when it comes to my collection issues and lately i got some delicious diecast vehicles by premium brands around the world, pending to publish (including some very rare/scarce and expensive items) but i’m not planning to sell my HWs since the reason why i got them is still in force...
i know we, the collectors, evolve and so our tastes, but if you buy something you want to collect for some reason and then you sell it to get something else... is it consistent ???... well, is only my thought and obviously i wouldn’t mind to sell my collection items if i’m in need or someone really close to me... otherwise, my collection will stay with me... =)
Well my HW mainline (Ford Escort, VW Golf GTi MK1, and some of my favorites) are still with me and I would surely never sell them. The ones that was sold are the cars that I consider bought by impulse. :D And no I did not sell them so that I can buy another one, I sold them because I need the space they are occupying for my new and growing collection. I try to stay busy at work so that I can buy new cars for my collection, the nature of my work is just so time demanding it hinders me in taking pictures of my new hauls and updating my blog. Nevertheless, I still make sure that I have just enough time to hunt, buy and admire my new hauls.
DeleteAny ways, thank you for dropping by! I am currently working on something secret for now and I might need to get your mailing address since your my 1000 view. :D
